This just in from Rolling Stone magazine:
Forty years after the release of their debut album, Kiss have finally made the cover of Rolling Stone. Admittedly, I was not a huge Kiss fan. However I did have one friend who was. Jim had Kiss posters on his bedroom walls and we listened to Kiss whenever we were at his house or cruising in his 1965 Dodge Dart. I bought Kiss Alive when it first came out and as we were listening to it in my basement I could tell Jim really wanted it. He offered Deep Purple’s Made in Japan which I gladly accepted. I already had the first two Kiss albums and I loved Deep Purple. Somewhere out there Jim is smiling as his boys finally make it into the rock ‘n roll Hall of Fame. Jim, I’m smiling too. 🙂
