Q. What is the “Essential 100”?
A. The Essential 100 Challenge (The Essential 100 or E100) is a proven systematic approach that guides readers through the big picture of the Bible without getting bogged down and frustrated. The E100 is a carefully selected list of short Bible passages — 50 from the Old Testament and 50 from the New Testament. The passages are usually one to two chapters in length and can easily be read in 10 minutes or less.
Q. What scripture passages are included?
Q. Is the E100 sponsored by any particular church?
A. No. However, Coker United Methodist Church is challenging its members to complete the Essential 100 beginning June 1. As a member my posts will be timed accordingly.
Q. How can I go back if I miss a day?
A. There are three ways:
- Click the link in the top left corner to go back to the post for the previous day.
- If the post you seek is one of the previous five you can find it under Recent Posts on the right.
- You can also read the post for a particular day by clicking on the calendar.
Q. How can I ask a question?
A. Use the “Leave a Reply” box at the bottom of this page. I will attempt to answer all questions within 24 hours.
Q. How can I spread The Word?
A. Here are some ideas:
- Subscribe to Brad’s Music Room so that you receive an email each time I create a post, then forward that email.
- Like and share my posts on Facebook.
- Challenge your friends to complete the Essential 100.
- Word of mouth

yeah, the audience was great. one of my frdeins told me people in the back kept asking “who is this band playing?” during NP, i guess thats really great. i just thought they might have been mentioned in the review on soundvenue.dk but nooo.. and yeah, i should just learn to completely ignore DR and their incompetent employees.why didnt i see you? my friend rikke (from blaavinyl) told me she saw you, and you thought she was me? tsk tsk tsk.
Brad, I just stumbled on your site. Very cool. I write a blog and found the Gideon art work to use for a post. Yours was in a larger format. Then I started reading. We are quite alike. I started writing a violin making blog, and then God wanted a devotional. I put music videos of all sorts in every post, with a verse, and some thoughts on it. Maybe even a dream or a vision. Now I’be added a picture besides, so each post has an image. It’s been almost 5 years now, and I have a vast site, but it is so vast (over 1700 posts) that the essential 100 would be an extreme challenge!
God said that He would take care of getting viewers; so I’ll let Him handle it.
