Due to some scheduled surgery this past week I had to ‘Take Five’ from coming up with my next post on our journey down the Hickman family road.

This timeless piece from 1959 written in 5 /4 time has become one of the biggest-selling jazz songs of all time.

Loved your family stories and especially the colorful lives of your three aunts!! What a memorable young life you lived! One little note from my husband, George’s family — his mom and auntie used to have some guitar playing visitors come by in the evenings to ‘jam’ — one Leonard Sly and his buddy — of course, Leonard Sly later became know as Roy Rogers! What fun!
I remember this song, but could not have told you the title! I usually enjoy the easy listening type of jazz songs – they somehow take you away to some faraway place – very cool!
Take care, Brad. Will be thinking of you prayerfully while trusting in our loving God to see you through the surgery — especially with the loving care from (your) Linda!
    Peace be with you!
